Intermediate Lesson 16

Write your comments about the topic from Intermediate Lesson 16. The topic is . . .

1. Write your answer to one of the ethical questions in the second to the last paragraph of the reading.

Should we build objects including life forms atom by atom for our purposes?

How would you feel about having mechanical parts in your body?

What would be the motivation to work if we could have machines produce everything (Would we even want to work)?

  1. I believe that the life will change in the future more, at present time some people have protesis in their legs, arms.marca paso in the hearts, etc.
Inclusive I think that any moment no human beings, only machines, robots will exist in the world.

  2. Using technology to advantage humans sounds quite inviting, especially when technology has taken a great part in many industries.Using nanotechnology to build objects including life forms atom by atom for our purposes is a very bad idea, mainly due to the fact that this technology can cost the income the many workers gain from doing these same jobs. People will become lazy and depend on this technology to spoil them, one more time too often and can be the leading cause to impoverishment, financial crises, and society will become overruled by the biased thoughts on the advantages of nanotechnology. Because this direction with nanotechnology is still being "researched", its reliability for future use can still be questioned. Nanotechnology uses for biding objects and life forms will do more harm than good.
